Before sharing what makes Universal Soul Matrix Reikiā¢ unique, I want to begin where every Reiki journey shouldāwith gratitude.
I am deeply thankful for the teachers who carried Reiki through generations, beginning with Dr. Mikao Usui and continuing through dedicated practitioners who preserved these teachings with care and integrity.
I am especially grateful to my teacher, Candace Hawkshaw, whose guidance became an important part of my own journey.
Without this lineage, Universal Soul Matrix Reikiā¢ would never have existed.
Every teacher before me helped shape the practitioner I am today.

šæ Why Did I Create Universal Soul Matrix Reikiā¢?
People often ask me,
"If Reiki already exists... why create something new?"
It's a wonderful question.
The answer isn't because I believed Reiki was incomplete.
And it certainly isn't because I believe Universal Soul Matrix Reikiā¢ is better than traditional Reiki.
Quite the opposite.
Traditional Reiki gave me an incredible foundation.
It taught me presence.
Compassion.
Trust.
Connection.
Service.
It changed my life.
But over fifteen years of working with hundreds of clients, something began to happen naturally.

šø Healing Became About More Than Energy
When people first came to see me, they often believed they needed someone to fix them.
To clear them.
To remove something.
To heal them.
Over time I noticed something important.
The greatest transformation wasn't happening because of anything I was doing.
It was happening because my clients were beginning to understand themselves.
They were learning to notice when their nervous system felt overwhelmed.
They were recognizing old patterns.
They were developing healthier boundaries.
They were becoming more aware of the messages their body had been trying to communicate for years.
Healing wasn't simply about receiving.
It was about remembering.

If there is one practice that transformed both my life and my work...

One of the biggest differences in how I teach is this:
I don't believe I'm giving students their intuition.

Life simply teaches us to stop listening.

Their intuition.

One of the most meaningful additions to my work has been understanding the nervous system.
When we feel safe...

We first learn to create safety within ourselves.

One of my hopes for Universal Soul Matrix Reikiā¢ is that people from many different backgrounds feel welcome.
Some students have a strong spiritual practice.
Others simply want to become more self-aware.
Some are Reiki practitioners.
Others have never explored energy work before.
You don't have to believe exactly what I believe.
You don't have to adopt my language.
You don't have to fit into one spiritual path.
My role isn't to tell you what your truth should be.
My role is to help you become curious enough to discover it for yourself.

When I look back on this journey, I see it clearly.
Reiki gave me the roots.
Meditation taught me to listen.
My clients became some of my greatest teachers.

It wasn't something I set out to invent.
It unfolded through experience.
Session after session.

My hope isn't that students leave believing I have all the answers.
It's that they leave trusting themselves more than when they arrived.
I hope they slow down.
