A Little Everyday Magic: Introducing The Inner Sanctuary at Ki’smet Co

When was the last time you tried something simply because it sparked your curiosity? Picked up a beautiful card, noticed a symbol that stayed with you, or sat with people who made it easy to laugh and be yourself?

That’s the feeling behind The Inner Sanctuary: A Little Everyday Magic, a new monthly gathering at Ki’smet Co in Saskatoon. Bringing together intuitive play, gentle ritual and Universal Soul Matrix Reiki, this evening offers space to explore, connect and receive.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our responsibilities that we forget to leave room for wonder. We move between work, family, appointments and everything else on the list. An evening spent following our curiosity can become something we look forward to—a small pocket of possibility in an otherwise familiar week.

At The Inner Sanctuary, we’ll begin by settling in together. Each month will bring a fresh theme and a playful activity using things such as illustrated cards, colours, symbols or everyday objects. You might notice an image that reminds you of something you love, discover an unexpected association, or hear a perspective that opens up your own thinking. There are no right answers. You decide what holds meaning for you.

We’ll also create a small personal intention piece to take home. Artistic talent is entirely optional! A few words, a simple drawing or a symbol can give you something tangible to return to after the evening ends. Gentle ritual gives that moment a little space and attention: a way to acknowledge what matters to you and what you would like to welcome into your life.

The gathering will close with time to get comfortable and receive Universal Soul Matrix Reiki, or USMR. USMR is the Reiki approach I developed, grounded in connection, intention and respect for each person’s own experience. During this part of the evening, I’ll offer group Reiki while you rest quietly. You don’t need Reiki training or any previous experience to participate.

The philosophy that holds my work also holds this gathering: Safety invites participation. Participation creates connection. Connection creates the conditions where healing can emerge. There’s room for laughter, room for quiet and freedom to choose how much you participate. Sharing is always optional.

You’re welcome to come on your own or bring a friend. Whether you already enjoy spiritual exploration or are simply curious about an evening involving cards, creativity and Reiki, there’s a place for you at the table.

Our first gathering takes place Friday, November 6, 2026, from 7–8:30 p.m. at Ki’smet Co, 16–2220 Northridge Drive, Saskatoon. The evening is $35 per person, with materials included.
