Over the years, I started noticing something important.
Most people coming to me for Reiki or energy healing were not looking for something dramatic.
They weren’t trying to “escape reality. ”They weren’t broken. And honestly, most weren’t even looking for spirituality in the way people often assume.
They were overwhelmed.
Emotionally exhausted. Stuck in survival mode. Carrying too much for too long without enough support.
And that changed the way I approached healing work entirely.
At Ki’smet Co in Saskatoon, I’ve intentionally created a grounded approach to Reiki and energy healing that focuses less on performance — and more on helping people feel safe enough to finally exhale.
Healing Should Feel Supportive — Not Intimidating
One of the biggest things I hear from clients is:
“This feels different than what I expected.”
Because many people are curious about Reiki, but also hesitant.
Sometimes they worry it will feel:
too “out there”
uncomfortable
overwhelming
emotionally unsafe
overly spiritualized
disconnected from real life
But healing does not need to feel dramatic to be meaningful.
For many people, healing begins quietly.
A deeper breath.A softened nervous system.A moment of emotional clarity.Feeling lighter after carrying stress for too long.
That matters.
Most People Don’t Need More Pressure
I think a lot of people today are carrying invisible emotional weight.
Especially women.
Many are constantly:
caring for everyone else
overthinking
emotionally overloaded
mentally exhausted
disconnected from themselves
functioning while overwhelmed
And eventually, the nervous system starts asking for support.
Not more pressure. Not more productivity. Not another thing to “push through.”
Support.
That’s why my work focuses heavily on nervous system regulation, emotional support, grounding, and creating a space where people do not need to perform healing.
They can simply arrive as they are.
Reiki Can Be Gentle & Grounded
My approach to Reiki and energy healing is deeply intuitive, but also very grounded.
I believe healing work should:
feel emotionally safe
support the nervous system
create clarity
help people reconnect with themselves
honour personal sovereignty
avoid fear-based messaging
This work is not about convincing people they are “broken.”
It’s about helping people reconnect with calm, clarity, and emotional balance again.
Sometimes clients cry. Sometimes they sleep deeply afterward. Sometimes they simply feel lighter and calmer.
Every experience is different because every nervous system carries stress differently.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I created Ki’smet Co because I truly believe people deserve spaces where they can soften without judgment.
Spaces where healing feels:
grounded
supportive
calming
human
emotionally safe
Not performative.
Just real.
Over time, I’ve watched people walk into sessions carrying tension, grief, burnout, emotional heaviness, and exhaustion — and leave feeling more connected to themselves again.
That shift matters to me deeply.
A Different Kind of Healing Space in Saskatoon
I believe the future of healing is becoming more grounded, more nervous-system-aware, and more emotionally supportive.
And honestly? I think people are craving that now more than ever.
If you’ve been feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or like you’ve been carrying too much alone — you are not weak.
You are human.
And you deserve support too.
